Flute playing physicist who loves spy novels, script-driven movies with great dialogue and character development or popcorn flicks with spectacular explosions and witty phrases (Run! Look out! COW!!!). Former ping pong champ in Tokyo ward, multilingual (deutsch, nihongo, zhongwen, engrishu), and I enjoy rustling up a mean Reuben, omelette, or moose tacos. Pair it with amazing fresh-squeezed tangerine juice from my mountainside orchard and you've got my favorite midnight snack.
My work requires a low online presence - no Facebook, Myspace, or Twitterpation. Somewhere out there is a devout, intelligent, hard-working, classical-music-loving musician with a great sense of humor and a passion for finding truth -- even in unexpected places. I pray every day that I will find you. If I fail, please find me.Places you might look: The Henry Doorly Zoo. Or the LA Zoo. Or the Olympic Game Farm in Sequim. La Posta de Mesilla. The raspberry fields of Bear Lake. Family gatherings in PA, UT, AZ, MO, WI. Autumn leaves, apple picking, and beloved friends lure me to New England. Work frequently takes me to the DC area. And for peace, serene refuge and grand adventure, there's Yellowstone.
Favorite church activities include paint ball with the Deacons; hiking, camping and pranking with scouts, log sawing+butter churning+cow rides+arm wrestling+tomahawk throwing with entire ward for Pioneer Day, casting out the wicked 1/3 from heaven by pelting them with giant marshmallows in Primary, quenching the fiery darts of hell shot from clothespin match guns in the patio outside Sunday school, bottled bounties of the earth from my pantry fed to gospel doctrine class while discussing Jacob 5 and countless Saturday moves with fellow Elders. What a blessing to be LDS and work together, play together, learn together, and inspire one another!Fiercely faithful, well traveled, funny, smart, and semi-bald. Would love to meet someone mostly similar.
