I place a great deal of importance on true friendship. From past experience I know that a true long term relationship, whether as a friend or spouse, has to be founded upon real friendship. To often we hear the cliche..."it was love at first sight"...maybe, but more often than not it was..."lust at first sight". Two people would meet and be attracted to each other for 'short term' reasons while expecting 'long term' benefits. They both said "I do"...but probably 'didn't'.
I am a romantic from a long line of romantics. I believe that dating is so much more than a movie and pizza. Dating should continue even after marriage.
It must be mixed with healthy additions of humor, wit , laughter, family, the gospel and some new adventures.
So if you're interested...let's meet! That should allow each of us to agree what the next step may be. So if you feel this way...let me know.
