Adventuring through this wide and wonderful world it’s important to find the people with which you’ll most enjoy the journey. I’ve been extraordinarily blessed with travel companions, from my brilliant, inspiring, and sensational siblings, to my loving and energetic young sons. My family has always been very tight knit; we help and support one another in all our endeavors. Currently most of my free time is spent appreciating the growth and development of my boys. Seeing them discover and learn, helping to guide them as their own path of life unfolds, is the most satisfying work I could ever imagine doing.
I have always been a supporter of performing arts, though I’ve never possessed the talent myself. I enjoy taking in and being inspired by great symphonies, beautiful musicals, thrilling contests, and a little movie magic now and again. Opera music in particular holds a special place in my heart; its music that enlivens the soul and moves through the core of you. Opera singers demonstrate the highest heights and lowest depths of the human vocal range.
Treating the body as a temple includes proper maintenance and cleaning in addition to living the gospel to bring the spirit into it. Every dietary tweak and every exercise rep is done with the thought of showing respect and appreciation for this magnificent vehicle God has given us to traverse this life. I wake up early enough to hit the gym every morning. I love the thrill of lengthening my stride, bursting through personal barriers and pushing myself to achieve more. Health and fitness is, and always will be, a very important aspect of my life.
Lastly and most importantly, the gospel is the chief cornerstone in my life. Though times have on occasion been tough, I know Heavenly Father has looked out for me and blessed my family. I am eternally grateful for the people He has introduced into my life, the impact they have left, and the lessons they have taught.
