Originally from south GA, I recently moved to Atlanta for work (I'm a NICU nurse)... and to try and rekindle my love for all things outdoors. I come from a big family and they are very important to me. I am the oldest of 6...all now married and worried that I've set my relationship standards too high. Let me assure you that I have not:) So, if you are ridiculously wealthy, extremely good looking, super fit, or perfect in any way...I will have to respectfully decline your requests...the last thing I want to hear from my younger siblings is that they told me so...
Next to my family, the gospel is the most important thing to me. I feel so blessed to have it in my life. I regularly attend church and attend the temple 2-4 days a month. I am seeking someone who places the same importance on the gospel as I do.
I once asked my little sister and her husband how important they felt compatibility was in a relationship. They responded by telling me that I mainly needed to look for someone that liked the same TV shows that I did...because apparently that's all you do as a married couple:) While this may be legitimate advice, I would also like to find someone that may share a few of my other passions... I love to experience new places and cultures and never tire of traveling. I like to be outdoors and enjoy activities such as biking, rowing, hiking, boating, and walks on the beach. But, I also am content to relax at home and watch a movie or play games. I believe just about anything can be fun when you are with the right people and have the right attitude.
ps... Just in case the advice I received is true, I'm not a fan of reality TV shows, extremely violent or horror flicks...however do enjoy a good comedy, particularly of a romantic nature, or action movie. And I try to keep my viewing to PG-13 and below:)
pss...FULL DISCLOSURE: HIGH HEELS NOT INCLUDED. I just wanted to put out there that if you are looking for a frilly, girly girl...then you might want to move along. My closet looks more like the women's department at REI than Bergdorf or Bloomingdales. In other words I'm more of a jeans and tennis shoes kind-of gal. I like to be prepared at all times and in all places for whatever adventure comes my way. But I assure you...I am still more feminine than (most) of you are;)
