I am in a lifelong romance with the humanities of the world. I teach it, I study it, and I travel whenever possible. I also love volleyball, family, friends, music, and new experiences. My favorite smell is the inside of an office supplies store, and my favorite sound is shoes on a stage. My favorite Halloween costume was being the Badly Burned Albanian Boy from the Day Before (Flight of the Concords), and my best dish is Thai curry. If I could be any character, I would probably be either Portia from Merchant of Venice, or Judy Dench's "M" from James Bond.
