I am originally an Alberta farm boy. I've spent the last few years in Utah working for BYU as an IT manager for Chemistry and Biochemistry, which I really enjoyed. Now I'm back in Alberta working with my brothers on a large and modern farm. I'll say I'm the Chief Information Officer as computers and technology impact everything we do here and we rely heavily on them.
I enjoy working with computers, but I also like hard physical work and building things with my hands.
My hobby right now is RC airplanes. I also enjoy traveling, though I don't like to travel alone, and so I haven't gone anywhere excited in a year or so. I most recently traveled to Israel for the fourth time, and Jordan for the second time. I really enjoy the peoples and cultures of the Middle East. I also enjoy the way the Biblical narrative comes alive in context.
I've been told I'm a good listener, and I particularly like to listen to people's gospel insights. I don't have a lot to say at first, but when you get to know me I can probably share quite a few things with you.
I enjoy hiking in moderation, and enjoy being outside and in nature. I'm not really a camper, but I do enjoy doing it from time to time.
On dates I enjoy simple things like walks and good conversation, or cuddling on the couch with a good movie.
If I have any flaws it would be enjoying British comedies, mostly from years gone by.
If you want to get to know me a bit, send me a message. Sending a message doesn't have to mean either of us wants to date the other. There is such thing as making new friends and having interesting conversation.
