Hi there stranger. If I passed the profile photo test, here's what's under the surface: I find joy in the rarities of life, which is convenient considering I have a down-ward sloping smile (don't call it a frown, son!). I'm unassumingly tall and unassumingly bright... I recently relocated to Oregon after five years in Boston, bought a house, and am putting down roots. You can usually find me in yoga pants at Home Depot trying to figure out how to be a home owner. My life is better than I could have planned at 30 and definitely some kind of wonderful.
Vocationally, I'm working in the digital world--nerdy enough to understand code but not nearly nerdy enough to write it myself. I've achieved great things in my career but it doesn't define who I am.
I'm personally striving to be the best version of myself and finding ways to serve others. I'm a sensitive soul where others are concerned; I hate small talk but I've mastered the art of making others feel comfortable.
Lastly, I'm a master of emotionally keeping it all together and looking for the good. I'm not annoyingly chipper but am definitely an optimist. Life's too short to be annoyed all the time; the silver lining is always there if you know where to look.
I love theme parties, sports, fabric softener, gadgets, and financial stability. My weaknesses are dry wit, good drivers, and well cut jeans (also: geeks and good grammar). For fun I love to read, dance, work on my house, give the perfect gift, and make quesadillas.
I'm really good at driving, conversation, connecting the dots, eating candy, loyalty, and turning a phrase.
