Sometimes it's difficult to describe who you are. As a person, I believe we choose how we are and if we are mindful of this we can be that person Heavenly Father put us on earth for. My chosen profession is actually my second choice. I didn't decided what I wanted to be when I grew up until I was 50. I went back to school and obtained my associates degree in Human Services. I am now attending Mary Baldwin College while working full time. I will obtain my Bachelor's degree in Social Work in 2015. My past profession was in IT work. I use this in my career today, believe it or not. I work as a care manager at a Medicaid Managed Care. It's amazing work and everyday is different. God's gift for me was being able to make people feel at ease. You won't meet a more genuine, passionate person as me. I am profoundly fulfilled in doing volunteer work with refugees. Mentoring these refugees through the Refugee Resettlement Program as they first come in the country has made me a much humbler person. This work is preparing me for my dream of doing mission work in other countries.
I am hoping to find friends on here that hold these same passions for human kindness. Sharing success is very important to me. My son and daughter are starting new lives and I would like to do the same. Friends are the starting point to a new life. Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day!!!
