The April 2009 General Conference talk by Elder Bednar has had a big impact on my life. Sharing your opinions about this talk will earn you HUGE bonus points!
I am an adult convert. I was 22 when I was baptized. I am now 46, so over half of my life has been as a member of the Church. I consider myself to be loyal and trustworthy. Once you get to know me, you will come to the same conclusion. I do my best to keep things simple. Choosing the right one choice at a time, and fixing my focus on the temple. I have a very strong testimony of the restoration of the gospel.
Others have found me to have a nice sense of humor and overall fun to be around. I am kind, considerate, affectionate, and loving. I love board games as well as any creative family night activity.
My favorite thing to do is attend the temple. I have a goal of attending the temple each Saturday. Since my wife passed away in December, temple attendance has helped me to draw on the powers of heaven during a time when I needed that tremendously.
Meeting each other for the first time is most safely done inside the temple. My ideal date is going through a session at the temple, eating at the cafeteria, then taking a stroll on the temple grounds.
I look forward to hearing from you!
Thanks,
John
