Hello. I am a unique guy that enjoys music, reading, education, and pop culture. I teach high school history and enjoy the interaction I have with teenagers. They help keep me young. I am looking for someone who will appreciate my music snobbery, one-liners, and other eccentric behaviors as well as some good conversation.

Some of my musical favorites include Beatles, Sinatra, Dylan, U2, John Coltrane, Elliott Smith, Guided By Voices, Sigur Ros, Avett Brothers, DeVotchka, Ryan Adams, and many, many others. In books I enjoy Eggers, Hornby, Kerouac, Klosterman, and lots of philosophy and history (my college majors). Movies I enjoy include Bottle Rocket, Good Will Hunting, Field of Dreams, Shawshank Redemption, Almost Famous, and most anything else with some heart. I would love to contact others with similar pop culture interests for concerts, films, and other diversions.
