I love being with my family and friends! Moving far away from them has made we realize how much they mean to me, and how much I miss being around them. I come from a good-sized family with six kids, three girls and three boys. I love being from a big family! There is never a dull moment!
This year, I began my second year of teaching middle school students who are intellectually disabled in Dodge City, Kansas. It is both a challenge and a blessing. They are a joy to work with, and they will teach me far more than I will ever teach them. I am also working towards my Master's degree. Between teaching school, going to school, and fulfilling my calling in Young Women's, I don't have tons of free time, but I try to make the best out of what little I have.
I love camping, but I unfortunately I never have anyone to go with me, and there are way too many scary "taken" stories out there to go by myself. I also enjoy watching rugby with my dad (when visiting home), playing slow-pitch softball (as much as possible), riding my bike, messing around on the guitar, and watching movies. When I only have a little bit of time to kill, I like to cook, read, or play video games (my brothers got me hooked).
There aren't a lot of members of the Church in Western Kansas, and even less YSAs. Honestly, I'm doing this to meet new people. If something more comes out of it terrific, but if it doesn't, that's okay to.
