Hi! I am a Dad and Grandpa, a retired teacher, a lifelong musician and full time music enthusiast. I am also a High Priest who loves the Gospel and hopes to serve a senior mission someday. I have a very strong testimony of the truthfulness of the Church, and in our Savior; I know that He lives and is at the head of our church. I am an Army Veteran who loves to travel by car (I dislike flying because I don't like crowds or standing in line). I am very patient and kindhearted, and I have a great sense of humor and love to talk.
I am not really sure what to write about here; I come from a large non-LDS family. My Dad is a still very active 84 year old who never remarried after my Mom passed away. I have five younger brothers (no sisters) who are all happily married, and I have three grown up children and eight (so far) grandchildren, all of whom live in Texas. One son and one grandson are return missionaries.
Ken Burns made documentaries for PBS about two of my three greatest passions, namely Jazz and Baseball. A few unusual things I have accomplished include building a house, composing a symphony, and rebuilding two car engines. I own a small ranch, and plan to build a house there after my mission (being optimistic). I played on my college baseball team two years and on the football team my senior year, serving concurrently as the President of my college band lol. I used to be an avid water skier, and I am still drawn to the water. I love boats and my favorite place on Earth is Lake Michigan.
I have been widowed for over seven years, and I am hoping to find my best friend. God Bless You!
Have a great day!
