Hello! If I could describe myself in five words - honest, fun-loving, friendly, teacher at heart, and GREAT cook.
I have been a Pre-k teacher over the last five years and love to feel like a kid, while coloring with my students. I love to experience new things with them and our all-time favorite snack: milk and Oreo's, double stuff or the colored ones especially. The best thing about being around a child is to see their face when they have been working on understanding a concept and all the sudden it clicks. There is nothing better in life. It is like a beautiful sunset.
I was born in Utah but moved when I was 8 to Georgia and been here ever since, so I am a southern girl at heart! In my spare time I enjoy playing board games and do win most of the time. (Sorry you will have to live with that :) ) I love reading, especially children's book and have made it a goal to write one this year. Also I have found this love of road trips and traveling to visit new places and learning new things.
I served a mission in Fresno, California and fell in love with my mission and serving God's children. I currently work at the Temple in the office, which there is no better job,to be in the House of the Lord.
My hero and role model is my amazing grandma, who passed away almost a year ago very suddenly. She was my best friend and when we were together we were two peas in a pod. She has taught me to love the Lord, to be a hard worker and be honest in everything I do. Losing my dear grandma and best friends has taught me that Heavenly Father has a plan for each of us and as long as we have a firm foundation and faith in Him, we will make in through anything. I love this gospel and I know that it is true more everyday. I love the Lord with all my heart and will do anything that He wants me to do, no matter where it takes me.
