This committed church member, Democrat, and National Public Radio junkie is looking for like-minded souls. I'm an Air Force brat and spent over two years in Mali, West Africa as a Peace Corps volunteer. Though my degree was in Theater. I ended up as a high school history teacher. I try to live ethically and care passionately about raising good kids.

A big fan of: independent films, intelligent conversation, spicy food (especially Thai and Indian), gardening, travel, games, the outdoors, books and history

Not so fond of: junk television, early mornings, disorder, meanness, fast food, and wastefulness
