I am 42 years young. I am a positive person that has a very friendly happy personality. I am the woman that everyone comes to for advice or friendship. I befriend everyone except criminals. I am the mother of 3 children, 17 - girl, lives with me full time. 21 - son, married lives in Las Vegas with his wife and first son! Yes, I am a grandma! 23 - son, is stationed here in the Air Force. It was an answered prayer! Has his first girlfriend now. I am the mom that has all her kids friends at my house, that listens to her kids friends problems and helps them through it; the cool mom, but I am always the mom that is strict and fair. My children love me very much and tell me it is time for me to look out for myself and let myself get involved with someone again. But, he better treat me like I am precious, because I am a treasure to them!
I have a strong testimony of the gospel in my life. I'm a cheerful happy woman that loves being of service and truly care about peoples feelings and lives. I love cooking. I feel that how I cook and care for those around me is a manner in which I show I care. I love making people feel welcome and comfortable in my home and in my life. I love being a mother and hope to be able to have more children in my life here on earth whether by adoption, foster parenting or God willing, by birth. I'm a woman that's lived long enough to have made many mistakes in life and learned from them. I accept that we all make mistakes, what matters is what we have learned from them and how we live our lives now.
The church has pulled me from the depths of a pit I didn't know I was in! I am forever grateful to all those in my life that prayed for my salvation. I am now a temple endowed and worthy woman! God is healing, love, compassion, and my everything.
I am looking for a man that wants to be married in the temple and that together we can build a life with God as the foundation we build upon. Everything else doesn't really matter to me. I love God and I want a man that loves God. I'm tired of borrowing the sister's husbands for priesthood blessings and manual labor. The sisters have been wonderful about sharing the priesthood with me.
It took me 20 years to finally make my dream of living in Homer, AK come true. I really want to stay here. I love Alaska and everything I can do here. I have a hunting and fishing license. Now I need the guns and poles and companion. I believe in provident living. I enjoy growing and preserving food for use during emergencies and in the winter. I crochet, knit, sew (when I have a sewing machine), cook, bake gluten free.
