So...I am:

---a realistic optimist: I love life, and there isn't too much that gets me down, but stuff happens and that's what builds our character, right?!

---a beach girl: ocean waves and sunsets are better than any dessert, any time.

---a parent: my children are my treasures, of course. I work hard to be a good mother and wouldn't trade it.

---spunky: I get dressed in a flash and can go from zero make-up when I'm hanging with my kids to super-snazzy when it's time to go out.

---inter-dependent: I can make things happen and do most things by myself, but I want to rely on someone else when the job is out of my scope.

---a wordsmith: I like to write, and I teach people how to do it, too.

---a dancer: I grew up dancing, danced for a company in college, and am still dancing for fun.

I love movies and music---I always have time for film festivals and concerts, but I can never remember directors and band names. (Go figure!)

When I travel, a one of my main objectives is food. I generally prefer healthy eating, but I splurge when something tempts me. I'm more chocolate than candy. I'm more steak than chicken. I've never had better food in the world than in Western Turkey.

I prefer active vacations over luxury ones, and I'd rather go with a friend than alone, but I've done that, too. I've seen a lot of the world while I'm biking, swimming, running, or hiking through it.

I want to date someone who can talk about anything and who isn't in a hurry to get married but would like to eventually.
