To quote a great movie, "Sometimes all you need is twenty seconds of insane courage...literally twenty seconds of just embarrassing bravery. And I promise you, something great will come of it."

Recently joining this site is my 20 seconds of bravery. Actually writing a bit about myself is more difficult. I have been described as shy, reserved, thoughtful, empathetic, fun, feisty, silly, serious, hopeful..."quiet, with a lot of spunk."

Recently I was in a hurry, going in to the post office. A very nice man opened up the door for me & whispered to his preteen son to hold the next one open for me as well. I was very impressed! He was a gentleman & taught his son to be one as well! That's the kind of guy I am looking for. Yes, I am capable of opening doors & doing most anything a man can do, but it certainly does feel great to know I can/will be treated like a lady too!

I am looking for a man who can become my best friend, who will share decision making, responsibilities, etc. on an equal basis and still treat me like I am a queen, a person of great worth! I want to be able to share my life with someone who will respect me, love me, support me, and be faithful to me. I want a strong relationship where God & family are first above all else. Prayer, scripture study, family night, and Temple attendance is a must! Date nights, long talks, cuddling, silliness, & fun are also required! Dancing would be a plus! I would love to get dressed up to go out, but I am also very comfortable in jeans or sweats and just hanging out. Doing things together, and with family, is what really counts.

Of course, I am a mother...so my 4 children (2 of whom are grown) are a high priority to me. I would need someone who feels the same way and is willing & able to be a part of that as well.

I love The Lord and want to share that with others, so I fully intend on serving a mission with my future eternal companion.

I would love to go on adventures of all kinds with that special someone. Adventures could include art, music, dance, architecture, travel, nature, reading & studying together, etc.
