Simply put: I love life and am looking for someone to enjoy it with!
My biography states that I’m an optimistic, thoughtful, down-to-earth, real person with passions and a killer smile. :) Laughter and humor are an essential part of my day. I love to have fun in the moment and find joy in things that can't be bought (like watching a sunset or helping to brighten someone's day by giving them a compliment). Being LDS is also big part of my life and who I am.
I value good communication, staying physically fit, and the desire to be continuously learning and growing. Traveling is something I love to do and hope to experience more diverse cultures in the future. I recently had lunch with an indigenous couple in their humble mountain home in Peru. With guinea pigs running around our feet we discussed the love they had for their crops and their land, while then transitioning to how they could get me to marry their son :)
I have the awesome opportunity to work with teenagers as a counselor and one of my passions is helping them believe in themselves and what they can accomplish. While not having the official title of “cheerleader”, I think that sums up my job pretty well. Maybe if I just get myself some pom poms, (span style="font-weight:bold;")I can make it official! :)
On any given day you're likely to find me hiking in the mountains, swimming (span style="font-weight:bold;")in a pool, or out on a run. I love searching online for a new recipe to try and catching highlights from sporting events (or attending in person!). My introvert side loves to curl up on the couch with a good book every now and then (historical fiction is a favorite!). I’m also an east coast girl who moved to UT about a year ago. While I can honestly say I love it, I've found that what I really enjoy is having new adventures wherever I find myself, and I would love to share those adventures with someone else!
