I wholeheartedly agree with Robert Frost when he said, "If we couldn't laugh we would all go insane." I like to laugh and I love to share a laugh with others. I basically run by the philosophy that there isn't much (or anything) that happens to us in life that can't be made at least slightly better by a good laugh, a nap, or a run!

I am a fairly active/energetic person who loves to spend time with friends & family doing anything from taking a walk together, going to a sporting event, or just playing games. There isn't much I don't enjoy doing as long as I am doing it with someone else! (There are things I like to do by myself though such as writing & reading). I enjoy being outdoors and staying physically fit. Most days of the week find me doing something for exercise and soon I am doing my first sprint triathlon!

My education is in event planning and school counseling. I know, they're so closely related aren't they?! Most recently I worked as an elementary school counselor, but now I am on sabbatical :) and work for just one family managing their household and their kids! Never a dull day and I enjoy the variety of tasks.

I have a passion for learning about history (of anything or anywhere), trying something at least once (except for a couple of things like eating a chocolate covered cricket), celebrating a friend/family member’s birthday, and being an active volunteer in my community/ward. I've been a youth basketball coach a few times and it's been a lot of fun!

I also love getting to know new people (especially those of a different ethnic background) and hope to travel overseas more in the near future. Currently, I am studying German because I'd like Germany to be my first stop to visit some of the towns my ancestors lived in.

When it comes to relationships, any relationship, I am a huge believer in communication, patience and giving someone the benefit of the doubt. I am looking for someone who fascinates me but also brings out the best in me. Together, we push ourselves to be the greatest we can be! I also believe that perfection is impossible and laughter is essential. I love the gospel, spending time with family and serving in the church and am looking for someone who enjoys doing the same.
