I am looking for a partner & friend to become my husband and lover. He’ll be the most important person in my life and I’ll make him feel like the luckiest man alive. He’ll place me in a corresponding role & I will, indeed, be the luckiest woman who ever lived for we will truly love each other. We’ll dine & dance together until we are too old to do so. We’ll go camping in the mountains, on the beach, and in the desert until our frail, aged bodies can’t stand it anymore. We’ll attend Church and the Temple together, study & discuss the scriptures as equals sharing our insights with each other and we’ll put the gospel principals into practice daily in our lives.
We’ll share gloriously intimate days & nights in the heavenly environment of our home, kept neat & clean by both our efforts. We’ll share tasks to keep our home a “little piece of heaven on earth.” There’ll always be fresh flowers in our home as symbols of honor and affection I will have for the man whose touch for me will be easy, natural, loving, nurturing, & edifying; his voice will always speak to me with love and to all others who would hear him, in kindness.
We’ll learn from each other – I’ll teach him whatever he chooses to learn about whatever I know about. I will, in turn, learn from him whenever I can whatever he is able to teach me. His role will be to provide for us so that by the sweat of our brows, we might break bread together. In the home and workplace, I will honor and support him. We’ll not spend all our time gazing into each other’s beautiful & knowing eyes, but surely some of it.
Rather, we will spend more of our time hand-in-hand walking together into our future while cherishing new & soon-to-be-made memories we will make together as one.
When you come to the edge of all the light you know and are about to step off into the darkness of the unknown, faith is knowing one of two things will happen. There will be something solid to stand on or you will surely be taught how to fly – come, fly with me.
