Hi, my name is Ben. Im usually shy around people till i get to know them. I Like outdoor activities like hunting, camping and 4x4ing. I love laughing and spending time with friends. I am open minded and willing to try just about anything. I have many different hobbies and interests, more than I have time for, but they are not my main focus in life. Family and my 2 children are most important to me. I know what I want, I'm brutally honest, responsible, and I have my priorities in order. Sometimes the most enjoyable things in life are as simple as sharing a couch with someone you love and watching a tv show or movie together.

As a young boy I spent a lot of time in Cardston, Alberta, visiting my grandparents during the summer and other holidays. I can remember at night I could see the light at the top of the temple through their kitchen window. What a peaceful sight. Now I live just down the street from the Langley, BC temple. I love being close to the temple. I wouldn't consider myself a hard core Mormon, in the sense that I don't always have a strong testimony, but I believe the teachings of the church are the proper foundation to a good life. I've been very blessed to not just believe the teaching of the church on a spiritual level, but to believe in them as logic too. I have never been tempted by things like alcohol or smoking because they just don't make sense to me, I have never understood the desire behind them.

I have two very funny, smart and observant children. I'm constantly surprised by how much they know at just 4 & 6 years old. Supper cute to boot. I love how they would rather play with me than watch cartoons, and how they always want to help me when I'm working on something (even though its hard to find all my tools after)
