So, a brief summary of who I am:
I grew up in the Southwest and still love the mountains and desert, both give me peace and a sense of freedom - you can see for miles and the smells of fresh air are awesome.
Even as a child my family moved several times before settling down to one location. After my grandfather, a career military man, passed away I decided to join the Army in his memory. I loved my time, but when they wanted to send me one location (I know - kinda vague here) I got out and went back home. I was still working on my college degree and then realized how much I missed the diversity of people, so I came back in to the Army.
It was during my Army time that I meet and married my ex-husband. We traveled to several countries, a few states and had 3 totally awesome children. I have been divorced since 2005.
My oldest is married with the cutest little girl and a step-daughter. They are both in the National Guard and have been overseas 2.5 times. My second daughter is also married to a returned missionary, while my son is not married.
I have great family, three brothers and myself, with parents/step-parents that I love dearly. The same is true for my friends.
I am a convert, many years now and cannot think of being anything but a Mormon.
I love the beach, mountains, desert, traveling, looking for old railroad tracks, rearranging things in my house, my job, the Gospel, my callings, life and especially my family.
