First and foremost, I love the Savior Jesus Christ with all of my heart! He is my Redeemer and has delivered me in so many ways. I strive each morning to study the Book of Mormon and write in my journal about a couple of verses. I also strive to study other church book each day. When I work out almost each day, I read the conference issues of the Ensign. Not only do I get a physical work out, but a spiritual and emotional and mental work out as well. I love to attend the temple and I make an effort to go each week. I love to fast as well as I need the help that comes from it. I love being a father and a husband and have been told that I am an awesome father. I love to hold family prayer, family scripture study and family home evening. I just love the gospel of Jesus Christ!
Last night I was watching TV and a Time-Life infomercial came on for the first season of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers DVD set. If you ordered right then you also got a plastic red ranger toy. I almost jumped on the offer as it was much better than the Sham Wow! Those Sham Wows just don't clean like they say you know! They are just a Sham and not the Wow! LOL.. You can usually find me on one of the corners of Salt Lake City. My cardboard sign reads "I won't work for food, but if you want to be scammed feel free to give me a buck!" I make about four hundred dollars a day tax free. So, I qualify for Obamacare for only 24 bucks a month. I think the other bums are jealous of me. I dress up real nice and do some salsa dancing routines. The ladies are the biggest donators I believe. However, there was a guy who gave me a twenty once. I don't know why! The interesting part is that I moonlight in the evenings teaching sociology and psychology at a local university. My students love it! What a contradiction! In my pictures I look like a terrorist that is going to get ya; so when people meet me in person they are so confused so I prescribe Xanax for them to help them deal... ha ha...
This past paragraph is actually a joke. I have a fun sense of humor. However, some people think it is serious and a reality. I apologize for that.
I love the church and especially Jesus Christ who is my Savior and Redeemer. He has delivered me in so many ways from the trials of this life. He has healed me as I have personally spent time with him in the garden of Gethsemane. I am so grateful to him for his tender mercies and that he loves all of us. I love my Father in Heaven and all the blessings that he has given to me. I am far from being perfect and I need the atonement of Christ each and every day. I try to attend the temple each week. I so love the temple! I study the book of mormon each day with great diligence as it is the way to Christ and Salvation!
What I do for fun is I write these silly commentaries to make you smile and laugh. I am not in hurry to get married again as I already had an awesome marriage and family. I am taking my time and making friends. Here is an awesome date I went on when I lived in San Diego. A good sister flew in and I took her to Seaport Village for lunch. We walked around and bought some fudge and candles. We then drove up I-5 to the temple and spent time there walking the grounds of the San Diego Temple. It was spiritual and romantic at the same time. Next, we went to the beach and walked hand in hand as we watched the sunset. It was awesome as we chatted and laughed and walked through the cool water. It was so romantic that I almost proposed on the spot. However, as we walked along the sand at the most romantic moment we looked into each other's eyes and as we were about to kiss, she screamed in horror! I thought I must have offended her, but she had actually stepped on a bee! So, I picked her up and carried her to the car... It was a long walk... Whew!
