I am a convert from 1978. I have been both active and inactive, but for the past several years I am dedicated to remaining active the rest of my life.
Like everybody else, I hope to find some one to be my best friend. When the time is right. then I would marry my best friend. That special one would be strong in the gospel and bring honor to the priesthood.
I have a varied background. I've held jobs typical to small towns. In the 80's I volunteered a great deal of my time to the POW-MIA issue (prisoner of war - missing in action), helping to bring an awareness to the issue and helping in trying to get a particular bill past in congress. I'm still in the POW-MIA issue but not as active'
I traveled many times to DC and other places and served on President Bush's (senior) Inaugural committee. My task was to ensure that the handicapped could enter the events at places that they could also go through security.
I joined the Army late in life, went through Basic at 35 and I am a first Gulf war, Desert Shield/Desert Storm veteran, 1990-91.
I enjoy travel, by any mode. I enjoy day trips to taking many weeks or more. I have been to many interesting places, both in the States, and overseas.
The most beloved and meaningful trips, were the trips that I took my daughter and grandsons on. It was traveling to Church history sites. We have been blessed to have gone (by car) to many and by plane to SLC. I would like to visit all of them many more times.
I'm a romantic, I am nostalgic, ,and I'm a Patriot. I've been known to shed a teardrop or two when I watch The Waltons, M*A*S*H, and at patriotic events.
I like to take walks along the river, in parks, in the woods or looking at the architecture of our small river towns.
I like to watch the river. I enjoy the outdoors, gardening, camping, hikes, most outdoor things.
I would enjoy quiet evenings at home, Watching TV or sitting on my back porch.
I would also enjoy adventures , outings., and date night with my future special one, ( best friend-spouse.)
While I was stationed in Germany, in 1994, in celebration of my 40th birthday, I bought a new motorcycle. A small Harley Davidson. Own one now, but due to an injury, unrelated to MC, my riding days are behind me.
I try to stay informed with current events both national and international. I am a conservative.,
Thank you for reading this. I hope we all find that special one.
