Well hello there! I don’t know about you, but I find writing an online profile about myself to be… hmm… daunting? I’ve been told a good profile should be witty, illuminating, attention-grabbing, and genuine all at once. So here goes… don’t know how successful I’ll be. :) I grew up in a large family with eight brothers and sisters. Yes, eight. The biggest challenge when I was little was all the sisters, believe me. You won’t believe how many fights over clothes, cassette tapes, radios, and nail polish a group of growing sisters can have. So while the early years may have been a bit rough, the best thing about it all is that we are the best of friends now. I treasure my friendship with my sisters like nothing else. I like my brothers too, I suppose. :) Now I am living in Texas away from most of my family, and though I miss them like crazy, I know the relationships continue while even miles apart. I’m grateful for the amazing opportunity I have right now to work on an advanced degree towards my dream of teaching.
I feel I am a very positive and optimistic e="font-weight:bold;")person. I love learning and so many topics fascinate me. I have a fascination with Alfred Hitchcock movies, dystopian novels, Italian food, board games, ballroom dancing, sightseeing, ice cream, Beethoven symphonies, and hiking in the great outdoors. How’s that for a random mix? I have done adventurous stuff too… but hardly ever bordering on the stupid side, of course. ;) Ask me about a bit of makeshift zip-lining through a banana plantation during my mission in Costa Rica… if you feel at all curious.
Exotic wishes? If I suddenly inherited a fortune , I would travel all around the world, seriously!
Above all, I prize my relationships with others. There is nothing like good conversations and connections with loved ones. I want to keep learning all my life. I am open to trying new things and perhaps maybe one day finding some secret hidden talents I never knew I had.
I would also love to learn more about you! Send me a message, if you’d like.(/span)
