My name is Kristen, and I love to be around groups of people and go to parties, but staying home and reading a good book is a good alternative to after a long day. My favorite hobbies are hiking, climbing, and doing most anything outdoors.

I am finishing masters degrees in German and History right now, and would love to be able to teach somewhere, though I'm not sold on any single location-the only requirements are that mountains and a temple have to be close by (less than a 2.5 hour drive).

The gospel means everything to me, and I'm grateful every day for the person that I have become as a result of living it. I served a mission in Germany and Austria, and loved every minute of it.

I hope that traveling and learning languages will be a part of my life in the future, but right now, I'm taking one day at a time.
