Hi y'all. Welcome to my world - the quiet, peaceful hills of West Virginia. Almost Heaven! That reflects the feeling I strive to have in my life. We are given such a wonderful opportunity to be on earth, to learn and to progress. I love to learn!! Uncovering new truths is exciting.
I have been told that I encompass all that a woman should be, a deeply spiritual side as well as a more sensual nature. I enjoy life and enjoy being a woman. I am glad that Heavenly Father made man and woman so different. Wouldn't have it any other way.
My life is filled with blessings. My family is important to me. I have four daughters and one son. Three live here near me and two live in Utah. Ten grandchildren, including 8 boys and two little girls! I sure love them!
To what am I NTUN (in tune)? 2MUSIC. I love it....all aspects of it. Singing , dancing, composing, listening, playing. It brings me to life. I especially love to slow dance !! Anyone willing to take me in their arms and get out on the dance floor? Oh, and I hope the right guy is going to be able to play the guitar and sing to me. I just have the feeling he is! So, start practicing!!!
I also strive to be in tune to the spirit and let it lead my life. The gospel is of utmost importance to me, so if you only "sometimes" attend church, we would not have much in common. I need someone who has a full-time commitment to the gospel and is willing to incorporate it into their lives completely, someone who will go to the temple with me often and who truly KNOWS the Savior because they have spent time with him. Yes, I ask for a lot, but only because I have invested a lot and know what I must have in return to be able to progress with that special one. I want to be "equally" yoked, spiritually, emotionally, intellectually... You can accomplish so much more that way!
I currently teach in Primary. What a responsibility, to be sure those children KNOW that Heavenly Father and the Savior love them and are with them always! They are such special spirits! I have served in many callings- including many music callings, RS/SS teacher, Primary and RS President- but teaching the children is one that touches my heart deeply.
I have gone through a LOT of adversity in my life, but I have seen the blessings that have come through the challenges and tests. I have found gratitude for what I have been taught, what I have gained. With that gratitude comes a peace that allows me to smile through the tears and the struggles. I don't expect perfection, but I don't expect my Mr. Right to just have been sitting around waiting for me. I hope he has been trying to progress, as I have.
