I believe in the importance of family and a strong marriage focused on the Gospel. I look at the marriage of my parents and hope for the same. I have 4 kids. Three are adopted from Haiti and the 4th was the last minute surprise and blessing before the difficult ending of my 13 yr marriage. My kids are doing much better than expected with this especially considering their background, orphanage, previous loss, etc. With the Lords help, I am doing all I can to raise them with high moral standards, to be strong and firm in the Gospel, to stand for what they know to be right in a world that seems to have no regard for the commandments and laws of God.

I've enjoyed living in some great places (Utah, Idaho, Minnesota, California, the Netherlands, the island of Saipan). I enjoy the outdoors, learning new things like replacing sprinklers, installing shower doors, changing leaky gaskets in a shower, laying sod, etc. (good thing there's youtube!) I may seem shy or serious at first, but oh no... not that case..I have a crazy sense of humor and love to enjoy things.
