I am an energetic, friendly, positive, playful, 37-year-old mother of two boys, 17 and 14. I have a quick wit and ready sense of humor. Being a mom is the most important, and has been the most rewarding, thing I've ever done. And I'm reporting that in their teens!
I grew up in "happy valley" UT graduating from American Fork High school. Most of my family still lives in that area and California. I've lived all over the country, settling in MN about 10 years ago.
I received my Bachelor's in Nursing recently and am just starting a new hospital position. Over the years I've developed some diverse interests from designing and building raised-bed gardens and home landscaping, to building tree houses, bicycling or sheet rocking the neighbor's basement. On the other hand I also love to get dressed up for a night out on the town or an evening at the theater.
I like a bit of exercise, bicycling, what a friend called "wogging" (not exactly jogging), swimming, or the gym. I love to play sports, however it brings out my nerdier qualities. I'm quite sure I'm too antsy to passively observe them, but I've never really tried. I have a goal to do a Mudman 5K obstacle course this summer. I just completed a 7K for St Patrick's Day. It was 17 degrees in our little green hoodies.
I enjoy serving others. The most satisfying experience in my life have always involved lifting others. My dream is to do medical mission trips around the world for a week or so each year. I completed one to Guatemala for school which had other stove building and cooking teams. I would love to share a similar experience with the important people in my life.
