Ciao, my name is Matt. I just finished my MBA at BYU last April and moved out to San Jose for my job with Cisco Systems.
I was born in Provo, grew up in Dallas, and served my mission in San Diego. I also lived a few years in Geneva, Switzerland while I was working for the United Nations. Due to my mission and also to my overseas experience, I speak fluent Spanish, Portuguese, French, and Italian and I'm dabbling in Russian. I'd love to receive a message from you in whatever language fits your fancy!
I live for music and enjoy singing and playing the guitar, the mandolin, and the harmonica. I also like to play Capoeira which is an acrobatic martial art from Brasil. I was batizado or 'baptized' into my Capoeira group and given the nickname 'pernilongo' which means "long-legged one." I love basketball, and I play on a Cisco-league basketball team. I greatly enjoy the outdoors, especially the rugged and beautiful Canadian Rockies where my family currently resides, in Calgary, Alberta.
One of my greatest thrills in life is to learn about new places, peoples and cultures. I am an avid world traveler and have been to South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. When I'm not out and about exploring I like to spend time riding my Harley-Davidson, writing poetry, and reading literature of all genres.
I'm looking for a lady who truly loves the Lord, who has a solid testimony, and who is, above all, positive. I absolutely adore and am charmed by a girl who will laugh together with me.
