Not only is this on line dating type of thing new to me but the LDS church is new to me. I got baptized on Dec 29th and have really come to love the gospel. In all honesty I've never been on a date with an LDS guy before but I do know that since following the Savior is the way I want to spend the rest of my life, someone who shares my new found faith and devotion is what I'm looking for.
I am in no way what I always envisioned as being the typical "mormon woman" but I guess its a good thing knowing how to sow isn't required to get into heaven otherwise I'd be straight up out of luck! :)
I love mountain biking, running and crossfit but my favorite thing to do is hang out at the park with my daughter. She's recently started to work out with me doing my crossfit work outs and it is the coolest/most adorable thing I've ever seen!
Although I've not spent my life in the church I've had a lot of life and occupational experiences that I'd like to think have made me a better person. I've also learned how much I want to enjoy life and not take things and people for granted.
Family, the gospel, having a ton of fun and laughing till my sides hurt are super important to me. Side note....I love the Colbert Report, that guy is hilarious and makes me laugh in the aforementioned fashion regularly. : )
I currently work in a medical laboratory and am trying to re invent my career and would like to be in a forensics lab one of these days. In a perfect world I would be able to stay home with my daughter all the time but unfortuntely (as we've all discovered or we wouldn't be on this site in the first place) life does not always work out the way we thought or planned. So....I work, excersice regularly and do the very best I can to be the best mom I can be.
These brief profiles in no way even scratch the surface of who someone really is but all we can do is throw caution to the wind, be a little bit vulnerable by allowing a bunch of random strangers to pass judgment based on such a simple page of the most basic informaiton and see what happens.
