Just got back from a relaxing and fun trip to the beach. Nothing beats the beach unless of course your dog shakes free of her leash and sprints up to 100's of people before you can catch her. Good thing she's a happy friendly dog and that I only got a couple of dirty looks. She eventually ran up to my brothers family who grabbed her.
I've been focused on my career until recently. About two years ago I found a starving puppy dawg who followed me on an 8 mile hike around a lake. At the end of the hike I couldn't say no and took her in. I had no idea how much effort was involved in taking a puppy in. But the good news is that it got me to stop doing work at home and start re-prioritizing my life.
I've started to find my old self again. I enjoy a good adventure. This summer I've traveled, hiked, kayaked, paddle boarded, and surfed. I really enjoy staying active.
I enjoy down time as well. Sleeping on the beach or enjoying the view after a hike are some of my favorite days.
I've always enjoyed my friendship and am looking to make new friends. Hopefully, I can find a friend that is looking for a meaningful relationship and can tolerate a wild dawg.
