Hey there! My name is Michael and here's a little about me.

I was born in the church but like everyone else had to figure it out for myself. The Book of Mormon really is the keystone of our religion and of my testimony. I served my mission in Texas along the Mexican border, which made for some interesting experiences. I had a great time despite the heat and humidity and it was nice to get some culture in my life.

I graduated from BYU in economics with a minor in linguistics. I had planned on teaching English as a second language but switched to econ because I wanted to get more out my college education. In June I'll be starting a job with a financial advisory firm.

I love to hit the dance floor! I especially enjoy salsa. If you've never tried it I recommend it. It's cool because it's a different way to express yourself and communicate with others. My favorite sports to play are soccer and volleyball and I'd love to learn how to play tennis because I stink at it. I'm learning to enjoy running because I'm training for a 70 mile relay race. I also enjoy being close to nature--going on a nice hike or going on a fishing trip.

I'd like to share my life with a cool girl who is not afraid to get dirt on her. I'd like to have fun with my wife and I love a good joke so watch out! I guess this sounds cheesy but I want to fall in love with my best friend because that is really what will make marriage fun forever. I'm a blue personality from the color code, blues and yellows are supposed to be my best match.
