A little about me. My name is Michael. While attending college at BYU-I I worked at the Madison Middle School for 5 years as an AfterSchool Instructor and absolutely loved it. After graduating BYU-I in Computer Information Technology I got a full-time job as a Software QA Engineer at McAfee.

The church is very important to me. My favorite scripture is Helaman 5:12

Although I have my ups and downs the one thing that I have learned is that as long as I continue to trust in God and build my foundation upon Christ then things will get better.

I am definitely a more introverted type person but I also have no problem going out and doing stuff outdoors. When I worked as an AfterSchool Instructor I got put in charge of several of the sports such as kickball, frisbee, hockey, basketball, soccer, flag football, and dodgeball. I always had lots of fun playing with the sports though I can't say I was any good at any of them but we had lots of fun playing so it was all good. As for indoors type things I enjoy playing board games, card games, cooking, and of course computers. I also love interacting with kids. I especially love kids around the 11-14 age range (I did work at a middle school for 5 years).

I do really enjoy cooking and sometimes will spend most of the day making something yummy (homemade chicken pot pie, pulled pork with root beer sauce, cookies, whities(brownies except with white chocolate), etc.). Though if I am with other people I will do most things like board games, card games, sports, hiking, etc. I'm not much of a movie fan but the movies I do like to watch tend to be the more kid friendly ones like Up, Aladdin, Finding Nemo, Kung Fu Panda, Elf, Harry Potter, etc. I also do like movies like LoTR, Hunger Games, and Star Wars.
