I'm an outgoing person, a self starter, and pretty independent. I love people, what makes us all unique, and how we all inter-relate to each other. Finding out that I am a child of God completely changed me inside, and continues to change me through the years. Serving people helps to complete me
I live in the midlands of SC. I’m a convert to the church, and was baptized when I was 18. I married my husband in the Logan temple in 1968. We have five children and 19 grandchildren. My husband was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor in 1996 and he died in 1997. Most of my children and grandchildren all live in the Columbia area.
I work for a non-profit and I love what I do. I’ve been ward RS president, ward Primary president, Stake YW president, seminary teacher for 6 years, held a variety of other callings and served a full time mission in Northern California several years ago. I have a current temple recommend and attend the temple regularly.
I love walking, and spend time in the gym several times a week. I love to garden, and all the outdoors, love traveling and love cooking. I'm a constant reader, and I’m a writer and a poet.
It would be nice to find a friend with whom to share dinner, conversation and adventures. Riding in a hot air balloon is on my bucket list.
