At age ten, I joined the church because I knew it was the right thing to do; I have always been grateful for that innocent response to the Spirit.
I have happily taught gospel doctrine and early-morning seminary, and I have served as RS president, temple worker, and currently as a service missionary. Each calling has stretched my mind and expanded my spirit.
I am retired from teaching college composition and from scholarly editing. To keep busy, I am working on several manuscripts, both editing and writing, which I hope to publish in one form or another. I also enjoy family history.
My greatest joys are getting clear answers to prayer and hearing my grown children laugh at (with) each other.
I love reading, college football, skiing, camping, gardening/landscaping, home design, and intriguing movies and books.
I greatly miss sharing all of the above--and especially quiet evenings at home--with a gentle, witty, and devoted man.
