Sometimes people give me weird looks because I say 'I'm alive' when they ask how I'm doing. But truly, that's the most precious gift we've been given at this time...the life to experience things as they come.

My best friends tell me I am optimistic and funny. I love being outside in the sun and taking in the sunshine. I think laughter is the best medicine for anything! I love being around happy, upbeat people who love life. Sure, life can give you a bunch of hardship sometimes but it's all worth it in the end.

Art and music let people see into your soul. I happen to use it to keep me calm...and playing with clay can be very energizing!

I like being around someone who will let me be myself...and who doesn't care that not every day is going to be perfect. We were sent here to learn about ourselves, and others. It is something that we truly come to understand more and more as those hardships in life come our way. Self-esteem, integrity and honesty are those characteristics that are vital to every true and complete relationship; and those things will bring an abundance of love.

It's so much easier to be happy!
