I will be in Utah Valley Dec. 16-20, 2012 - if anyone in the area is interested! I am usually calm, practical (with a strong romantic side) and grounded. I only lose my cool, blow my stack or whatever about once every 5 years or longer! I am not into drama or pointless arguments. Kind, affectionate, loyal, accepting, intelligent, and resilient are some of the words my friends use to describe me. I dearly love life, my family and friends, reading, dancing, music, movies, and family history research. Once upon a time, i knew a little German and French. I took modern, folk and ballroom dance classes in college and received bronze level ballroom certification. That was a long time ago, too, but I would really love to find a dance partner for life. I have discovered Zumba - I am not very good at it, but what a blast! I am open to new experiences or ones I haven't tried for a while, like jetskiing, camping, hiking, some of your favorites...

I have lived in Texas, Ohio, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Colorado (Grand Junction and Front Range), Utah and Oregon. I have been divorced for 12 years, and my three children are ages 29, 23 and 21. My experiences have taught me that devoted, active friendship and joint communication (even when you don't always agree) are absolutely crucial to successful, ongoing relationships. I am rarely sarcastic or contentious.

I have been through a very difficult time dealing - successfully - with a cancer diagnosis and treatment. I'm taking better care of myself and becoming healthier than I've been for a long time. I know without doubt that Heavenly Father loves and blesses me beyond measure and His spirit was with me throughout these experiences.
