The Lord said that it is not good for man to be alone. And I'm guessing that having a pet doesn't qualify as not being alone. Soooo...here I am to rectify that situation. In truth I very much miss having a companion to share life's experiences with. I'm looking forward to finding the choice daughter of our Heavenly Father who I can take to the Temple and be sealed to for time and all eternity. I don't think that anything could bring me more joy and happiness. The Temple is my favorite place to be on earth and I attend weekly. I just finished a fun project of going to 12 Temples in 10 weeks. I'm so very blessed by having so many so close. I love the gospel and love to feel of the spirit. Certainly, I'm looking for someone who feels the same way about the gospel and the Church.
I love to be active, love to learn, love to explore new places and new things. I want to travel the world and see new cultures. I have many places I want to see. The list gets longer all the time. I'd love to study the culture, learn a little of the language if necessary, then go there. Foreign exotic places have a draw for me, ancient civilizations. Ready to pack your bags???
I love to be outdoors. Three things I would love in a companion would be the ability to snow ski, play golf, and play tennis. These are three things I always do. But I also love to hike, run along the path of some mountain trail (Maybe Western States 100 someday), fish, and just enjoy the beauty of Gods creations. I love to run, and will do some marathons and ultra marathons (If my body holds out). I'm willing to try anything once (I ate guinea pig in Peru). You'll definitely need to be in good shape and athletic.
I love to garden. I took up canning this last summer with .....mixed??... results. (Looking for someone self-sufficient, self-reliant to can with). Honey??? What color roses should we get??? I can sometimes flounder with decision making on the little things. And I do love to please. If your heart is set on pink roses...that's what we'll get.
I love the arts, museums, theater, opera (Want to go to Carmen?? I have an extra ticket?) I'd love to learn to paint, play the piano, and write (It would be good if you're a good speller "How do you spell magniloquent????? the wind blue and the reign came down) Ok, grammar is good too. There are so many art museums I want to see. Where are you??? Time is flying on an intercontinental missile.
I'm very affectionate. I love to touch, hold hands, hug, kiss and all the rest. I'd love to slow dance in the kitchen, (let the potato's burn I'll clean it up later). Offer my help for whatever you may need. A nice massage at the end of a long day of canning. An occasional wrestling match. A surprise in the end of you shoe when you try and put it on. The "I Love YOU" ball that shows up in the strangest places. I love to give cards and letters, and little gifts unexpectedly. I'm very open and honest about my feelings and am looking for the same in you.
I'm looking for someone to be able to talk to, that's intelligent, and knowledgeable and a quick learner. My degree is in biology and I find science fascinating and interesting. History is just as fascinating. I have a lot of genealogy to do. Work that is waiting to be done. I know there are people waiting, so yes, a Temple Recommend is required. I'm ready to go.
