Inquisitive with a love of learning. I enjoy entertaining and baking but can't cook a meal without some incident involving smoke. Dog lover. Scriptorium want-a-be. Chocoholic. Loyal. College grad. World traveler - Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, and about 30 US states. I love culture and experiencing new adventures. I have a bucket list of so many things I can't wait to achieve - but at the same time, I enjoy being at home curled up with a good book or sitting by a campfire roasting marshmallows. I serve in the temple and am the cub scout leader. I am learning American Sign Language (very slowly), play piano in RS and direct the ward choir. I want my life to make a difference.
Born and raised in Australia until my teenage years when my family relocated to the States, been here ever since. I received my Associates Degree in Elementary Education and Music and my Bachelors in Human Resources and Business Law. I enjoy the idea of philanthropy - helping employees and community members alike. This responsibility often falls to the HR department. This way I can utilize my love of teaching and helping teachers and schools with donations, book drives etc while working in HR.
I hope to change the world - one small random act of kindness at a time. It is amazing how something as 'small' as a smile with a word of encouragement can meant a lot to someone. Isn't that why we are here after all?
I do have more of a 'British' sense of humor - dry with a touch of sarcasm.
I am looking for an active temple-worthy priesthood holder. A man who is self motivated to serve in his callings and responsibilities at church, at home and in life. A man who loves the Lord and His gospel, who also wants a family he plans to raise in the gospel.
