If you believe in forever, than life is just a one night stand. (lol - excuse me I was singing a song)...
We are here for a short time on earth, so I do enjoy each moment to progress and enjoy those small things. I Love to set goals: spiritual & professional- I have a 9yr old daughter-she is a great kid. I also LOVE to give, give, give. (And if I see someone being mean to a "nerd" you can best bet Im the girl to stop it-lol).
I am an Outreach Specialist (like a Dean Assistant for those who don't know what that is lol)...I work closely with Dean/Administrators overseeing "tough kids, creating programs, and helping teachers improve relationships with students,). I also taught Algebra for 8 years in tough neighborhoods. Loved teaching and the many laughs I experienced with teens. Ive also taught adults who are alot of fun!! I love family/friend gatherings-(lots of laughs, pranks, watching sports).
I enjoy being romantic in relationships( I consider that a gift- I like to hold hands while at a concert, or walking on temple grounds-and yes I want to do those things even if we're 70 yrs old). Oh and I want to spend at least one Christmas in New York during my lifetime-preferably with my husband- (makes for easier sleeping arrangements! lol)
No matter what happens in life, the gospel puts joys and trials into eternal perspectives for me. It's important to me and it's practiced in our home. And it will always be part of us. I've served as a Relief Society teacher and serve now as a Sunday school teacher. I like curling up on the sofa with a blanket & Book of Mormon, or church magazinez/books. Enjoy attending General conferences, attending temple, FHE,etc. The gospel and family come first for me. I hope to serve in the church side by side with that special someone as we get old together and we share the gospel with others and our families.
I enjoy running (5ks), dressing up elegantly for an evening or dressing down to jeans and t-shirt to ride quads, Watching movies, action or church dvds. Im a music junky-possibly even musicoholic. (classic rock, R&B, & hymns). Really enjoy sports/concert events, vacations. Camping (beach/woods). A perfect weekend would start with that special someone at a Lakers game, getting Thai food afterwards-followed by the next day dedicated to serving in the temple, feeling the spirit as we drive back home to loved ones, & having peace knowing the gospel makes sense of it all.
