I'm a big believer in happily ever after even though it didn't work out for me the first time. That's where la vie on rose comes in...the song is about looking at life through rose colored glasses and I think I have that positive view no matter what life throws my way.
Some things about me: I just started piano lessons with my kids and I'm dreading my first recital. I'm back in school to stay competitive. I love going to church. It increases my testimony of the Savior. It's not always easy to go after working all night but I manage. I'm not an exercise fanatic, but I like good food so I try to get out to the trail as much as possible to get in a run. I have a sarcastic humor that is just a part of who I am. I'm outgoing and love to meet new people. I'm a little freaked out about dating at this stage of life, but I'm ready to move on and enjoy new relationships.
To me :
birthdays are special
Fourth of July means fireworks
Halloween is for being silly
Thanksgiving is when the whole family gets together and the day after (or later that night) is for shopping
Christmas means the birth of the Savior, Christmas trees, lights, and presents and another opportunity for family.
No we don't open presents on Christmas eve, but the elves bring the kids pajamas and Santa does make an appearance by Christmas morning.
About you...I'm looking for a man who shares my love of the gospel, enjoys children, and knows how to laugh at the world and at themselves. I don't need someone who's perfect, but someone who isn't done trying. Finally...I'll forgive a lot of flaws for a guy who cooks! ;)
