I'm a white man in an Asian body . . . no really . . . my parents are white. I grew up in a little Norwegian town in Northeastern Iowa and later in the suburbs of Minnesota but I can't do the accent. I went to school at BYU and was a missionary in Taiwan. I moved to San Francisco in 2001 and am still in love with this city. My life has been shaped by amazing people truly defining experiences and I'm excited to see what the next chapters bring.
I love the Gospel. My testimony has sustained me through intense trials and has given me good perspective through the past 18 years. I joined the Church just before my 19th birthday and I believe my decision to join the church and to serve a mission are the two best choices that I've made so far.
I love getting out and experiencing the world. I love spending time with family and friends. I enjoy running, climbing and skiing. Travel, food, art, music and good people inspire me.
