A little about me...

I am a nanny in the suburbs of New York where I take care of two little boys - I love them to pieces. While my job is amazing and I love spending quality time with the kiddos, my social life is basically non-existent, which is why I have turned to online dating. This should be fun, right? Right??

Let's see... As I mentioned before, I am a nanny. However, I am also going back to school starting in the summer. I had to take a few years off, but I am excited to get back in the classroom!! I will continuing my education to get my nursing degree. It will be nice to get school done and over with!

I am pretty adventurous and relatively laid back. I really enjoy trying new things in the company of people who make me laugh. I love going out and doing random, spontaneous stuff, but I also like to stay in with a good movie and great friends. You're already hooked, I can tell... Sit tight - there's more. :)

I LOVE reading. It's an activity that I find most enjoyable when done on a cozy couch near a warm, glowing fireplace. :) I always seem to find myself getting lost in a good story, whether I am the reader or the writer. I'm one of those goofballs who kind of forgets everything going on around them when they are immersed in a tale of daring sword fights or caught in the suspense of a mystery novel. How embarrassing, right? It could be endearing, I guess.

On the flip side, I enjoy being outdoors - running, hiking, going for walks, swimming, playing in the ocean, etc. I am pretty much down for anything... well, unless it's skiing or something. Snow sports and I don't really mix. However, if you take me out to a shooting range, I'll pretty much own you.

Cooking? I'm basically a master chef. From grilled cheese to chicken cordon bleu to homemade cinnamon rolls... I've got it covered. I tend to not follow recipes too strictly, which means I always kind of create my own dishes.. except for the cinnamon rolls. No reason to mess with perfection, right?

Now, I don't know if you'll believe this last bit, BUT - I've got some pretty important news. I actually ENJOY sports. I grew up in house where football was always on the TV. While I don't follow specific teams or players, I do understand the game and everything happening on the field. I kind of love it. When people mention that their favorite season is fall, they talk about the leaves, the crisp air, what have you... My reason is always because it's football season. That and Halloween. ;) The same goes for baseball - it's just a part of summer.

A few random facts about me: I am a seriously awesome parallel parker. I am pretty funny.. sometimes. I have freakishly small pinkies. I am a singer... it's cool. I write music occasionally. I am not a huge fan of ice cream and cake. Oh - and I kind of talk too much, as I'm sure is evident in this "greeting"... Almost finished, I promise!

As for the church? This gospel is extremely important to me. I have found peace, solace and great joy through the Lord, and I am thankful for that everyday. The atonement has played a huge role in my life and the Savior is my best friend, my confidant - my Brother. I am so thankful for every truth the Gospel provides, but most of all, I am thankful for the blessing of eternal families. The church brings families together, and provides true happiness.
