What is 'real'?

Have you asked yourself the same thing, especially when it directly involves you and someone that you hope would be exactly that, 'real', with you?

I have.

Cynical, I am not. Cautious, hopeful and open-minded, I am. I would like to meet a real and genuine woman.

I believe in God the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. I have strong ties to my immediate family - Father, Mother and, although deceased, my younger siblings, a brother and sister. Many tribulations I have witnessed, been directly involved in some and all the time which transpired, I always held to my faith and the love of my family. A wise, seasoned, old gentleman told me that these things which I experienced "will make you stronger, not so much as physically but in a 'spiritual' sense."

The enjoyment of aviation and piloting aircraft is beyond what words can describe, however with aviation fuel constantly escalating in price it is something which I do less. Being outdoors away from the city and taking in all the finery of God's creation somehow just gives me an inner calm and a affirmation for living.

I stay busy doing research in different areas and specialties and it gives way to some real cerebral 'brain-bending'. Staying abreast of current world events and with our military, holds my interest as well. There are family members on active duty directly involved in the geo-political struggle in the Middle East of which I monitor. My interests are somewhat without borders, as I am told by friends, and I do like to hear what others have to say.

Opening a dialog with you to explore common and diverse interests is what I hope would be mutually acceptable to begin. Having the foundation of a friendship first would enable us to broaden the forward scope of a lasting relationship. Do you concur? I am open for any two-way communication (as in with each other) and any topic that a real and genuine LDS lady may wish to discuss.

Consider this a challenge to learn about someone else, establish a new friendship, possibly discover someone to share in something wonderful and to smile a bit more than you did a few minutes ago.
