I was widowed in December 2007. We were married for over 27 wonderful years. It has been an adjustment. I prayed daily that my life would be full again. I must say, be careful what you pray for. In the last five years, I have six new grandchildren (a total of eight), two new sons-in laws, three daughters and three sons-in-laws graduated from BYU. I continue to teach second grade and enjoy my job. There is always a story to tell about my day. I am the Relief Society President. I attend the temple regularly. I babysit my three grand kids that live near. One thing I have realized is when you are helping others, your own concerns don't seem as big. Even though my life is busy doing good things, I still miss that close companionship of someone you love.
I love to read, shop, go walking, spend time with my grand kids, and vacation with my family preferably somewhere sunny by the beach or with a pool. I like to watch movies, play games, and go out to dinner. I enjoy the outdoors, and seeing rainbows and sunsets. I love flowers.
I'm easy going, a good listener, and I laugh at my own jokes! I love serving in the church and out. I care about others feelings and I'm there for those in need. I love the gospel and fulfill my church callings. LIFE IS GOOD!
