I don't know how to describe myself, so I'm just going to write a little of my life story. I was born and raised in the Philippines. I was baptized when I was 8. I am the eldest daughter; and when my mom died when I was 16, I wholeheartedly took on the role of mom to my 3 younger siblings, my sisters. The youngest was 6. Our dad was away during that time. One got married after 8 years and the youngest 2 went to Hawaii to join our dad after 2 more years. With all the hard times that we went through, we developed our faith in God and in the Church.
Most people say I look like I'm just in my late 20's. :-) Maybe because I keep myself healthy and I keep a positive outlook in life. I love living the simple way. I have a natural love for everything living. I try to show other people that nothing is impossible through our Heavenly Father. I love serving other people. I am joyful in even the littlest thing. Some friends say my name should be Sunny because they say I'm nice, friendly, kind, sweet, understanding. They also say I am calm & resilient, proactive & creative. I treat everyone as a child of God like I am. At first, I am shy but eventually I can be easy to talk with. I love to laugh. People say my laugh is pure, genuine, & infectious. They say I am both the brain and the muscle. But I consider myself more as one of the many muscles. I also love being a peacemaker.
My interests are varied. I have worked in various positions in IT, and I am also into massage therapy. I love singing, eating nutritious foods, learning new things and exchanging ideas with others.
I have a very strong testimony about the Church, and of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have had many experiences that have helped me become closer to my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, and even to the Holy Ghost. I love them. I am not a perfect person, and I'm not looking for perfection in others, either. Even when I was a kid I tend to look for the positive qualities in every person that I meet. That was how my mom taught me to be. I learned a lot from her. My family is scattered around the world but we keep in touch. I have 2 half brothers, 2 brothers, 3 sisters, & 15 nephews and nieces as of now. And we all love each other.
I am looking for a worthy priesthood holder whom I will love and support, and who will love me and marry me in the holy temple of the Lord, that we may joyfully obey God and live the gospel together for the rest of our lives.
