Hello! I read a quote the other day that resonated with me. "It's a shallow life that gives a person few scars." -Garrison Keillor. One of my all time favorite quotes is when Neal A Maxwell said "How could there be refining fires without feeling some heat?" I have scars and I have felt a lot of heat, but I have also felt the healing power of the Atonement of Jesus Christ and I have become a stronger person with a deeper understanding of my Heavenly Father's love.
Life has been challenging for a couple of years, but I am happy to be starting a new phase of my life. I am enjoying getting to know people and experiencing new things.
About me: I have three wonderful children, 2 at home with me full-time and 1 serving a mission. I love to spend time with them. I have a degree in Elementary Ed and I run a childcare business out of my home. The daily demands of parenting and working keep me busy, but it is a good kind of busy! I am sure many of you can relate. ;-) I love to read just about anything. I love to cook (especially for people who appreciate it more than my kids! lol) and also to bake. Homemade pizza is my specialty... that is why I put that picture up! Painting and drawing is a hobby I love, but rarely have time for. I am a happy person and I love to laugh and tease. I grew up with all brothers, so teasing came with the territory! I truly enjoy spending time with the people I love. It doesn't matter if it is a crazy adventure or washing the dishes together... I just like to experience life with those I care about.
For me, the most important things in a relationship are a mutual love for and commitment to the gospel of Jesus Christ and a shared sense of humor. With those two things any trial can be overcome! I hope to share this love for the gospel with a man who is fully committed to his covenants and honors his priesthood and understands what a precious responsibility and gift it is.
I am a laid-back, patient person who loves life! I find joy in watching my kids catch fireflies and play outside on our tree-swings. Soccer games, family movie night, reading bedtime stories and scriptures together all are parts of life that make my life full and complete. I would love to share this too!
