After browsing different posts, I was impressed by the many stories and great bunch of people on the site. I think it takes a 'wholotta' courage to jump in like that!!
One of my favorite perspectives is that all parts are essential to the whole! Especially in this case, because what is a 'profile' but bits and pieces anyway?!? but as far as job, career and family--I am an aviation electrician at Dallas Love (good money, lots of hours). I have reservations about delaying my education, but do have just under 50 credit hours and 30 months left on my GIBill-that I hope to use soon.
Timing is everything! I have waited to be in any relationships, because I wanted to be sure I had the most to offer someone--and after divorce that's more of an abstraction...lol!
I have a strong testimony of, and whole heartedly love the gospel. The teachings and principles help me be a better mother to my children and I am learning that I truly cannot live peacefully without listening to the Spirit (or arguing first--HA!). I sincerely believe that it has, at times, been my eyes and ears guiding me to better choices and opportunities. I also have a strong testimony in the power of prayer and how a worthy Priesthood holder within the home can bring blessings and strengthen the family unit.
As far as interests go, I try to have fun with what's going on day to day. But, I did a lot of rock climbing, and want to get back to it with my son. My kids go to fine arts schools so I really try to inflict them with the pain of culture and social graces !!it's working!!!
Looking forward to hearing more and making some friends along the way--
