It's been a while since I've updated this, so I guess I should finally update this. I am an out-going, social butterfly. I love to meet new people and just have fun. I do have a quieter side that comes out when I am with someone who knows me really well. My family and friends are extremely important to me, but they always come after my church responsibilities.
I graduated with a degree in Business Management this last December with an emphasis in entrepreneurship from BYU. I have lots of hobbies including reading, writing, volleyball, archery, computers, movies, and I have three ultimate favorite tv shows: Doctor Who, Chuck, and Duck Dynasty. Yeah, those pretty much showcase my varied interests and pretty much sum me up.
I was out in Chicago for a few months on an adventure for post-college employment. It didn't pan out, but I absolutely loved it there. I'm a Utah (transplant) Mormon, but with non-bubble experiences and ties that I love. I just started two new jobs last month, one as a contractor for UTA (beta-testing their system), and the other as a process specialist for a solar power company (helping people make the switch to solar panels on their homes). I absolutely love both jobs, and will be sad when my UTA (temp) job ends.
Overall I am a really easy-going guy. I have been complimented many times on my hugs. I have been likened to being a huge cuddly teddy bear more times than I can count. It's probably the most accurate epithet I've ever had. I come from a big family of 7 kids (I am number three). Neither of my older siblings are active in the church, but my 3 younger brothers have served or currently are out serving missions. The youngest will be going in about a year.
The church is very important to me. Everything I do has some connection to the Restored Gospel. I absolutely love my current calling as Sunday School President. I guess I love it so much because I love teaching and I am perpetually on standby to teach each Sunday.
Feel free to message me (assuming I haven't messaged you already) if you're interested in getting to know me more. Smiles are great too, but we can't get to know each other very well if we just use pre-recorded responses.
