Greeting from jbaer:

My name is Jonathan

Why you might want to date me:

I'll always be learning how to love you better

My wife will always be number one in my life

I'm great with kids, kind, patient, and loving

I have nice legs--even guys tell me so

I'll always be honest with you

I'll really listen when you speak

I'll make you laugh

I'm intelligent and observant

I believe it's not possible to do too much snuggling.

I believe it's important to be affectionate in public as well as in private.

I want someone who:

Finds personal growth and development fascinating and can talk about it forever

Admits when she is wrong and forgives quickly

Tells the truth about her mistakes and flaws

Likes her own body and who she is

Freely expresses her love physically

Is willing to have children

Can live without cats--I'm allergic

Enjoys quiet nights at home

Is willing to initiate contact after reading my profile ;)

I think the most important quality for a partner is to be unconditionally loving. There is a book I read called "Real Love: The Truth about Finding Unconditional Love and Fulfilling Relationships" by Greg Baer. It talks about how we all need to be unconditionally loved--loved with our flaws and mistakes. Unconditional love, or Real Love, is the only kind of love that counts. Anyone can love people when they are convenient or compliant. When we don't get Real Love, we look for other things, Imitation Love, to fill the void we experience. We seek Praise, Power, Pleasure, and Safety. We get these Imitations by using Getting and Protecting Behaviors: Lying, Attacking, Acting Like Victims, Clinging, and Running. When we tell others the truth about ourselves, people have a chance to see who we really are. Only after someone sees who we really are can we really feel loved by them.

I have spent a lot of time telling the truth about myself and eliminating my Getting and Protecting Behaviors. I am better able to see, accept, and love others. I look forward to sharing what I've learned with my wife.

P.S. If we never go camping, horseback riding, hiking, watch sports, or raise cows, it will be okay with me.
